Opening of the Office at 1 St. Colme Street, Edinburgh

Unification Movement office on St Colme Street

The Unification movement in Scotland formally opened its new office at 1 St. Colme Street, Edinburgh, on Wednesday evening, 11th. January, welcoming guests to a buffet and a showing of the “Man of Peace” video about Rev. Sun Myung Moon. About 25 people attended, of whom 13 were guests, including several ambassadors for peace.

The office is well-appointed in a splendid location looking along Queen Street and towards Charlotte Square, in the heart of the Georgian New Town. It will serve as our Peace Embassy and headquarters of the Unification movement, including the branches of Family Federation, Women’s Federation, Universal Peace Federation and Youth Federation. It will be used for coffee mornings, lectures, discussions and one-day seminars.

We hope it will bring focus to Unification activity in Scotland this year 2012. Thank you to everyone who helped make the opening a success.

That’s a beautiful building! I hope God’s spirit can dwell in it and all who visit may be resurrected!

Lovely news! How did you do it? Unification Communities from developing countries would like to hear and learn as to how to go about, not just getting a new home, but getting a home itself as some of them are run in the leader’s premises, sometimes not big enough to home about 30 members plus.

The unification community here in Medellin would love to hear!
